Mid-Year Workshop

The 2008 ANZAM Mid-Year Doctoral Workshop will be sponsored and hosted by Griffith University on 10-11 June 2008. This Workshop will start at 12noon on Tuesday 10th June 2008 and run for one and a half days, concluding at 6.30pm on Wednesday 11th June 2008. It will feature presentations from ANZAM Research Fellow faculty on methodology and candidature related issues including research methods, both qualitative and quantitative, examination, publication, presenting at conferences etc. In addition, on Wednesday afternoon, students will work in small groups to present and discuss their specific research problems and issues.

The Workshop aims to provide opportunities for professional development and networking, plus the experience for students of presenting their work and interacting with experienced peers in a supportive environment.

The Workshop is specifically for Higher Degree by Research students. No registration / attendance fee is charged but you need to be a current member of ANZAM to be able to attend. ANZAM Membership fees are $A82.50 (including GST) for full time students (subject to documentary proof) or $A159.50 (including GST for others. Pro-rate membership fees (half of the full rates) are available to first time members.
