OVERVIEW

ANZAM organises a one and a half day Doctoral Workshop each year immediately prior to the annual ANZAM Conference.

The Programme features presentations from ANZAM Research Fellow Faculty, keynote speakers and senior scholars on methodology and candidature-related issues including literature reviews, qualitative and quantitative methods, examination processes and getting published.

The Doctoral Workshop aims to provide opportunities for professional development and networking, plus the opportunity for doctoral students to interact with leading scholars and peers in a supportive environment.

In 2009, the Doctoral Workshop will be hosted by Victoria University in Melbourne starting on Monday 30 November at 9.00am and finishing on Tuesday 1st December. The 2009 Workshop program will be available closer to the event.

A mid-year Doctoral Workshop is also organised by the Research and Research Development sub-committee of the ANZAM Executive with assistance from the ANZAM Doctoral Student Representative. In 2009, the mid-year Doctoral Workshop will be held in Adelaide on 9-10 June, hosted and sponsored by University of South Australia.
