It is time for the annual call for nominations for ANZAM's Excellence Awards for teaching, early career researchers and best doctoral dissertation. Nominations close on 29 August 2008. For all the details of these Awards, select the ANZAM Awards webpage and then Excellence Awards.

The deadline for conference papers for the IFSAM World Congress to be held in Shanghai, China from 26-28 July 2008 has been extended to 29 February 2008. Further details are available on the conference website.

The ANZAM Executive was advised by James Davidson (e-Content Management) on 4 December 2007 that the Journal of Management & Organization has been accepted to appear in the Thompson Scientific (formerly ISI) Social Sciences Citation Index from Volume 13(1). This is a very important milestone for the journal.

The ANZAM Executive is very pleased to announce the appointment of Professor Ray Cooksey (University of New England) as Editor of the Journal of Management & Organization for a three year appointment from 1 January 2008.

Thanks to Professor Ken Parry (Griffith University) for his excellent work as Founding Editor of ANZAM's relaunched journal JMO.
