Rankings confirm Waikato Management School research excellence

Waikato Management School has been re-confirmed as New Zealand's No 1 research-based business school in the latest tertiary rankings released in May 2007.

The School was again the top performer in the two largest business-related research categories -- Management, Human Resources, Industrial Relations and other business, and Accounting and Finance. The School was ranked third in the two remaining subject areas of Economics, and Marketing and Tourism.

We're proud to retain our No 1 position, said Waikato Management School dean Professor Frank Scrimgeour. The result recognises that our School has world-leading researchers who create value for New Zealand.
