Professor Shirley Leitch formerly held a personal chair in corporate communication with the University of Waikato Management School. She is now a member of the University of Wollongong. Her research work focuses on public communication, particularly on effecting change within public discourses. She is currently an advisor to the Growth Culture sub-group of the Growth and Innovation Advisory Board. Her articles have mainly appeared in communication and marketing journals.
