This research theme centres on the discourse around biotechnology and agriculture and food production.  We are particularly interested in the way different groups, such as the Organics industry and the Life Sciences Network, have argued for the primacy of their approach to New Zealand's agricultural future. We have analysed the results using a number of different perspectives, including co-branding, scientific boundary organisations, organizational identity and hegemonic struggle.
