PhD students
The department has one of the most active doctoral supervision programmes in the University and has 16 PhD students currently enrolled. In the last five years, nine students have graduated with doctoral degrees and gone on to full academic positions in communication departments in New Zealand and overseas. Students have also been publishing extensively under the guidance of MCOM staff members.
