Conference Overview

Introduction

We invite all interested researchers to participate in the 2009 Marketing Dynamics Conference 2009, hosted by the University of Waikato in Hamilton, New Zealand. The conference will be held at the Novotel-Tainui hotel between 4-6 January 2009.

This fifth Marketing Dynamics Conference builds on previous conferences hosted by the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth University (2004), the University of California at Davis (2005) and at Los Angeles (2006), and the University of Groningen (2007). The purpose of this meeting is to provide a setting for academic researchers interested in marketing dynamics to meet and discuss research in this area, exchange ideas, and engage in collaborative work.

Close to Hamilton is Rotorua with world-famous geothermal activities. To Hamilton's east are white-sand Pacific Ocean beaches at the Coromandel Peninsula and the Bay of Plenty, and to the west are world-class surf beaches. New Zealand's scenery combined with excellent wines, superb lamb and seafood dishes, as well as a vivid Maori culture makes the country well worth an extended visit.
