Will I get paid?

The School expects that sponsors cover all expenses incurred for the 499/599 Report of an Investigation. Expenses that are usually incurred are photocopying costs, printing, binding, toll call costs, accommodation if travelling and travel costs. This list is not absolute, but includes some of the costs sponsors should expect to cover. A suggested contract format is available.

Often you are employed by the sponsoring organisation. Any payment of salary or expenses is wholly a matter between you and your sponsor. Details should be arranged in writing before the project is begun. Some organisations, especially those that are non-profit, are not in a position to pay anything, but this should not deter you from approaching them for topics for investigation.
