Summer School 2011

Summer School papers give you the opportunity to accelerate the completion of your qualifications and build extra strengths into your programme.

The Waikato Management School offers a number of Summer School papers to provide flexibility for learning by enabling you to enrol in programmes of study to suit your personal, professional and academic goals.

We welcome students from other tertiary institutions who wish to take our Summer School papers towards another qualification. Check the admission information for details.

Important Dates

7 November 2011: First day of lectures for  T Semester Summer School 2011.

11 November 2011: Last day of change of enrolment with transfer of fees for T Semester

1 December 2011: Application to Enrol deadline for S Semester 2012

12 December 2011: Last week of T Semester

19 December 2011: University closed for Christmas break

4 January 2012: University opens for 2012

9 January 2012: First day of lectures for S Semester Summer School 2012

13 January 2012: Last day of change of enrolment with transfer of fees for S Semester

20 February - 2 March 2012: S Semester Summer School Examinations

5 March: A Semester starts

The Waikato Management School reserves the right to withdraw any of the papers listed as being offered for Summer School 2011 if enrolments in individual papers do not reach satisfactory numbers. For undergraduate papers (Levels 100-400) the minimum number of enrolments per paper is 10. For graduate papers (Level 500) the minimum number of enrolments per paper is seven.
